Pastor - Clay Faircloth
Our pastor, Clay Faircloth, and his wife, Candace has ministered and served Shelby now for over 7 years. God called Pastor Clay and Candace to the ministry and to our church family in 2004. During this time we have seen our church grow in many new directions and once again, under Pastor Clay’s leadership, we have refocused on our community and impacting lives, one individual at a time.
Pastor Clay, the father of two college students, is also a recent college graduate. He completed his undergraduate degree at Williamson Christian College, located in Franklin, TN. He is now currently working on his masters’ in counseling psychology at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. Pastor Clay and Candace are also involved in many activities outside of the church. From responsibilities involving family, outside work interests, and being the proud owners of a hobby farm, there is seldom a dull moment. | Avonda Vaughan - Church Secretary
Avonda has been a member of Shelby Ave Baptist for 21 years and has served as our Church's secretary for 18 of those years. She is a tireless worker for the Lord. Much of the churches creative publications are her handiwork and countless hours are spent working on many other projects around the church.
